Our Expertise
My name is Dr. Shavkat Ruziev and I provide an integrative approach of both western and and complementary medicine in my practice. Previously, for over 15 years I worked within Internal Medicine, Critical Care, outpatient medicine, and as a hospitalist. For three of those years, I dedicated myself to treating patients for weight loss and performing esthetics procedures. I have worked in local healthcare settings such as UPMC Pinnacle, WellSpan & St Luke’s University Health systems and gained many valuable relationships along the way. Since practicing medicine, my core interests have always been preventive medicine, lifestyle modifications, weight loss, and aesthetics. I believe healthcare should be provided in a 360 manner to treat the mind, body, and soul. With a combination of well researched interventions and holistic medicine, Modern Medicine will be able to provide the highest healthcare and make your wellness a priority.
